
R. Paul Randall, Jr.
Paul practices in the areas of real
property, business transactions,
business entity formation, wills and
probate and chancery representation.
Paul has extensive experience in
commercial and residential real property
transactions and represents buyers,
sellers, borrowers and lenders.
Paul’s
extensive experience also includes all
aspects of title insurance. He is an
authorized title insurance agent for
Chicago Title Insurance Company, First
American Title Insurance Company,
Mississippi Valley Title Insurance
Company and United General Title
Insurance Company and in this capacity
has written title insurance policies
insuring hundreds of millions of dollars
worth of property across Mississippi. On
behalf of title insurance companies and
their insured, Paul also defends and
litigates title insurance claims.
Before
re-entering private practice, Paul
served as Associate State Counsel with
First American Title Insurance Company
in Jackson, Mississippi. At First
American, Paul’s primary
responsibilities included title
insurance underwriting and managing
claims.
Paul
began his legal practice in his hometown
of Woodville, Mississippi with Wilkerson
& Crawford, LLP where he was an
associate in a general legal practice
focusing on real property and related
areas of practice.
Paul is a
frequent presenter on the subject of
real estate transactions and title
insurance.
Paul is a
member of the Mississippi Bar, where
he currently serves as a member of the
Committee on Professional Responsibility
and on the Real Property Section’s
Executive Committee as Secretary. Paul
has served as Chairman of the
Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee
and on the Young Lawyer Division’s
Bridge The Gap Seminar Committee. Paul
is also a member of the Tri-County Real
Estate Lawyer’s Association.
Paul is
licensed to practice in every
Mississippi Court and in the Fifth
Circuit Court of Appeals.
Paul majored in Accounting and earned a
B.S. in Business Administration from
Mississippi College in 1997 and a Juris
Doctor from The University of
Mississippi School of Law in 2000.
Paul is
an attorney volunteer with the Mission
First Legal Aid Clinic, an active member
of First Baptist Church Jackson and is
married to the former Cyndi Eubanks of
Brookhaven. Paul and Cyndi live in
Jackson with their three children.
